Girl's Night Out...BRIDE WARS

For anyone who hasn't seen the movie "Bride Wars", you must go see it. Click here to read more on the movie. Brooke Moreland, one of the ladies I go to church with, decided that us women needed a night out, no men and kids allowed. I know I needed and it and I am so glad we got to do it. There were about 20 of us that went to the movie. HILARIOUS!!! After the movie, we were not ready to go home, so we decided to go to Cracker Barrel and get some dessert and coffee. We stayed until around midnight and finally had to say good-bye. Girlfriends are so important to have. We had an amazing time...there is nothing like "Girl Talk". Can't wait to do it again ladies!!

Matt In The Studio

Matt has been working on a song for a while now and he finally went into the studio to get it recorded. His Uncle Chad opened a studio and Matt helped him work on it. The song is "We Will Rise". Matt played the keys and did the vocals, Dave Landers played Bass, Zac Camp played the acoustic guitar, and Pedro played the drums. The song turned out great. We were there recording from 9pm until 1am. LONG NIGHT....but the couch was comfy. Thanks again Chad!

He was sweating in his little booth and we looked over and he's half naked....Will Farell TWIN

Matt is Little Mr. Home Makeover

My mom's Christmas gift was a backsplash in her kitchen. That is all she wanted. The idea came when the 2 of us were watching "Flip That House" and we saw some things that we really liked. We went out and bought the tile and Matt did it for her. He did an awesome job and she LOVES it.

Christmas In Dixie

Matt and I spent this Christmas in Alabama with my family. When we got married, the only way we figured holidays would work is by rotating years. We were in FL for Thanksgiving, so we spent Christmas in Bama and next year it will be the opposite. Matt couldn't get off work as early as I did, so I rode up with our Pastor's. Mrs. Jennifer's parents live in Mississippi and they pass right by my mom's exit when they drive up there, so they offered me a ride so I could have an extra 4 days with my mom. Thanks again Pastor Ryan!!! I got there at 6am on Friday the 19th. Of course I went to sleep because I was exhausted. Mom and I went grocery shopping and did some Christmas shopping! We baked Christmas Tree cookies and just hung out.

Our Christmas Tree Cookies

One of my best friends from high school, along with her husband and 2 boys, came over to my mom's to play Catch Phrase and just hang out. It was so great getting to spend time with all of them. It was the first time I met Preston, the baby! What an angel baby...all he does it lay in your arms and look at you with a smile.

My Aunt Lisa, Uncle Mark, and cousins came down the day after Christmas. My brother, and my cousin Cody, got Guitar Hero World Tour. It is one of the funnest games I have ever played. We had a blast with it. After a while of playing, I went shopping with my mom, Caitlin, and Aunt Lisa. It was fun to get the girl's out of the house and talk.
